It’s a zine/mini-comic created in March 2025 from a train of thought jotted down two years prior while in a period of great personal crisis, being in the depths of major depression.
The project deals with the sentiment of the drive towards death, the desire to die, opposed by the drive toward survival; the two psychoanalytic themes of death drive and sex drive, guiding our existence in a balance between the desire of failure/death and the desire for life - and its pleasures - as an opposing force.
A young man, buried by his auto-destructive tendencies, decides to experience death in a forest, only to find a white horse in the shade - symbol of strength and sensuality - with which he compares himself to but also is excited by. When he seems to have lost all hope, a large man - almost a personification of the horse - introduces himself to the young man and seduces him, letting him experience desire and pleasure once more.
