I donated this illustration to the “Giornate di Cinema Queer” festival for its 2022 edition. It represents a queer person’s freedom to express themselves in broad daylight and present themselves for who they are. The looks, the judgement, the insults that queer+ people sometimes feel like they can’t sway, are transformed by the character into shiny rain, embraced without worry.
