22 years-old, they’re a queer artist from Turin. Their interest for illustration and activism came together as an anticapitalist response to their education as a concept artist.
In a world where both activism and art are not seen as jobs but instead as “naive hobbies for carefree people”, they want to join both and create transfeminist and queer art, breaking preconceptions and “doubly disappointing their parents’ expectations”.
The future is unsure, both for them and for everyone, but in the meantime Ariele is working on that hope to become a concept artist and create an endless number of queer characters for books, videogames and more.
